I am writing to invite you to a very special celebration/ event to be held on Saturday, March 7th. We will be participating in a live webcast from the Oneness Temple in India where both Amma and Bhagavan (founders of the Oneness University and originators of the Oneness Deeksha) will be transferring the blessing to all of us as a community.

Additionally, March 7th marks Bhagwan's 60th birthday-- considered a particularly auspicious occassion in India. I had the great fortune of being in India with Bhagavan on his birthday in 2007 and can attest to the very unique and potent flow of energy which is made available on this day.

We'd like to bring together as many people as possible-- both formal blessing givers as well as all of our friends and family. I've spoken with a couple of the dasas and know they are planning a really wonderful and powerful event. It is rare to have Amma and Bhagavan together these days and extra rare for them to give a public blessing in this way. The dasas have been very encouraging in the putting on of the event and send their blessings that we may bring together as many of us as possible to share in this unique opportunity.

If you would be willing to share this note (and/or enclosed flyer) with your e-mail lists (where appropriate of course), we would greatly appreciate it. Additionally, if you feel called to create and post a flyer of your own around town, that would be really wonderful.

Our event will be held at the Unitarian Church in Boulder. It is a lovely space and can accomodate up to 200 people. We'd like to ask that you arrive by 9:15 so that we can all settle in and begin a preparatory meditation at 9:30. The webcast from the Temple will start promptly at 10:00 and should last 45 to 60 minutes. There will be time afterward to connect with one another and to share the Oneness Blessing.

As usual, there is no fee to attend this event. We will accept donations, however, to help defray our venue and projector costs. If you truly wish to attend and are unable to make a donation, please come anyway.
